Quick and EASY Geometric Tape Canvas Painting for Beginners and Kids

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

My previous activities with Neil have been successful but he is a kid who likes to feel the colors and really go crazy with them.

So this time I decided to do something much more messy but also very fun.

I used black tape at first and when I came to get it out I realized it didn’t stick properly to the canvas and all the colors slid under it, so me and Neil made another try with paper glue and this time it worked great!

You’ll need…

Canvas for painting Acrylic paint Paper Sticky tape Brushes/sponges A plastic palette for colors Something to spread out on the floor so we didn’t get too dirty

Take the canvas and place it on the floor or table, pasting the Paper Sticky tape in all kinds of shapes.

Paste it the way you want and create interesting shapes, anything under a glue will be white.

My kid started with brushes, moved to sponges and then even with his hands. He had a really fun time exploring what everything does and how the colors blend

After he finished painting I took a paintbrush and dipped it in white color and just sprayed some paint on it to create such color drips.

Immediately after we are done, remove the paper and let it dry

Good Luck!
